How much of the time that we are in the presence of our tweens are we on our screens?

Good to use the time to connect with them and get to know what exactly is going on in their worlds. What are they winning at? What are they battling? Where they could really do with your help as a parent? When we fail to provide this support, they are left with little option but to find solutions from sources you may not approve of. And those solutions may be at complete loggerheads with what you would provide if only you knew a particular problem existed. They are pre-teens for a short time. Let us think about a first little step we can take to be more present in presence of our tweens.
